This Week's Announcements

1. The Young Women need buttons for a camp craft. If you have buttons you can spare please bring them to church. They need the kind with holes through the center. The more colorful the better! Put them in your car right now so you don't forget!!! You can give them to - Sis. M. Buchanan or Sis. Morse. THANKS!
2. If you need a food order you can give them to Bro. Baker for now. The link is - http://www.providentliving.org/content/display/0,11666,8133-1-4352-1,00.html. You may either email it to Bro. Baker or print it and give it to him personally.
3. Our next Relief Society meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 8th, at 6:30pm at the church. The topic will be “The Family Proclamation”.
4. Sis. Lindsey had her baby girl 6 weeks early. Please keep them in your prayers for a quick and speedy recovery! Congratulations !!
5. The AV and RR wards are having a combined ward activity on Friday, June 11th @ 7:00pm and we have been invited. It is a “Love and Logic” workshop. You can learn more about “Love and Logic” (parenting) at www.loveandlogic.com. There will be a sign up sheet going around the week before during Relief Society, or you can reply to this email if you are interested in attending.
6. Sunday, May 23- Temple Dedication . 9 am, 12 pm, & 3 pm at Stake Center . A special recommend is needed to attend. Baptized members over the age of 8 in good standing will need a Bishop's interview to receive recommend, and unbaptized children and infants are not to attend. Current temple recommend holders may receive their special recommend from a Bishopric counselor. Regular block meetings are cancelled. You must remember – this is being treated as a temple session. You must be inside and seated at the time the meeting starts as doors will be shut and late admittance will not be allowed. All attending have been asked to bring a plain, white handkerchief.
7. May 23 is a youth fireside.
8. Saturday at 11:00am is a baptism for Cheyenne H.
9. Don’t forget to report your visiting teaching!!
10. We have been in need of families to sign up to feed the missionaries. The sign up sheet goes around, but does not always get filled. Often times, that is because you don’t have time, or perhaps you don’t have a priesthood holder in the home to be there when the Elders are present. Please consider ways to get around this. You can always pack a sack lunch for the Elders to pick up and take with them, or purchase them a gift card to get dinner somewhere like Subway, McDonald’s, or even the grocery store. You, your family, and your home will be blessed for helping feed the Lord’s sheep!! If you would like to participate, but are not in Relief Society when the sign up sheet goes around, please contact Sister Field.
